Every patient has different needs. What makes us different at the Michigan
Vein Institute is that we are prepared to meet those needs. Rather than using a "one size fits all" approach as in the
past with vein ligation & stripping we fit the treatment to the patient. Because we offer ALL of the most effective
non-surgical treatments, we don't have to settle for second best. At MVI we evaluate each patient by taking an
extensive history, a focused examination of the peripheral veins, and in most cases an ultrasound examination of the veins
of the legs. In cases with significant venous insufficiency additional tests may be performed. Then an individualized
treatment plan is devised. When you've completed your MVI consultation, YOU will feel like an expert on vein
treatment.
The initial evalaution is covered by Medicare and most Blue Cross/Blue Shield and other insurance
plans.
